If your name is no longer visible on the intercom, it is most likely for one of the following reasons:
Your doorbell button is hidden via the app
1. Open the Defigo Mobile App:
- Open the Defigo Mobile App on your device
2. Find your door:
- Tap the "Doors"-tab at the bottom of the app
3. Is the doorbell set to visible or hidden?
- Under the name of the door the text "Name visible" or "Name hidden" will be displayed. If it has been set to hidden by mistake you can just tap the door and toggle the "Hide personal button" to display the name again

Your doorbell button has been changed to a grouped, or sequential mode
When a doorbell button is changed into a grouped mode, you will first need to select the group-button on the intercom in order to find the individual names within the group.
If you tap the search-field on the intercom and search for your name, you should be able to find it. If you can find your name through the search-field, but not on the Intercom, it may indicate that you have a grouped button for your unit.
This is how you can see if your doorbell is in a grouped or sequential mode:
1. Open the Defigo Mobile App:
- Open the Defigo Mobile App on your device
2. Navigate to the door:
- Find the door through "Doors" or "Favorites"
- Tap the door
3. Go to the Layout settings for the unit
- Tap "Layout Settings"
- Tap "Unit"
- Under "Unit type" you can see if the setting is set to "Grouped", "Individual", or "Sequential"
- If the settings is set to "Grouped", or "Sequential", the group name will be visible on the Intercom, and you need to tap the group name in order to see the individual names
- You can see the group name under "Unit name". This is the name that will be visible on the doorbell
- If you tap "Unit Type" you will be able to see the individuals within the group
4. If you are the Unit Manager, you can change the doorbell preference for the unit
- This is a further explanation for the different layout settings:
Individual:
- Displays only individual names on the Intercom
- The call goes to the registered person
Grouped:
- Displays a Unit-name of your choice
- When visitors press the Unit-name, the names of all registered users in the unit will appear, and visitors can select who they wish to call
Sequential:
- Displays a Unit-name of your choice.
- Users registered within the unit will be called in a prioritized order that you choose
- First you will be asked to set a call-time for each user before the call proceeds to the next person on the list. We recommend setting the time to be between 20 and 30 seconds due to system connection time
- The on/off switch next to each user controls whether they should be called or not
- To change the order of users in the sequential call loop, tap "Priority list" and drag users to the desired position using the ☰ icons. When satisfied with the order, tap "Save".
Parallel:
- Displays a name of your choice
- All users registered in the unit will be called simultaneously
