In this section you will learn how to:
- Change the display name on your doorbell
- Upload a picture
1. Enter the settings menu for the doorbell
- Open the Defigo Mobile App on your device
- Go to the Doors or favorite tab and find your entrance. You will see what looks like an intercom next to the door symbol.
- Click on the name of the entrance.
- From here you can do the following
2. Change the name of your doorbell button, and add a description
- Tap "Layout settings"
- Here you can change the name for your individual call button, and add a description. The description will be visible under your name on the doorbell
3. Add an image
- You can also upload an image for your personal call button
- Press the pen-icon on the image
- Choose if you want to capture a new photo, or upload one from the gallery on your phone
- Select the image you want to use, and save
4. Add a name, description and/or image for your unit
- If you are the unit manager, you will have an additional tab at the top that says "Unit"
- If you enter the Unit-menu, you will also see a toggle that says "Unit button". If the toggle is not activated, it means that everyone in that unit will have individual buttons on the intercom.
If it is toggled (or if you toggle it), you will have a grouped-button, and your visitors will first need to push the group button (e.g for the family or company) and after that they will see the individuals in that unit/group. - If you choose to have the unit button activated, you can add a unit name, description and/or image, as described above
3. Choose your Unite type/call settings
- If you choose to toggle the Unit button, you will see a new menu called "Unit type" where you can choose between 3 different call preferences
- Grouped type - this option will first show your unit name on the intercom, and when someone selects the unit on the doorbell it will display the individual names of the unit/group. The visitor can now select the person they want to visit, and only that person will receive the call
- Sequential type - If you choose this option, you will only have the unit name on the intercom. The call will always go to the first person in the sequence that you are setting up, then the second, and so on. When someone accepts the call, the sequence will stop
- Parallell type - If you choose this option, you will only have the unit name on the intercom, and everyone in the group will receive the call at the same time. As soon as someone accepts the call, it will end for the other individuals of the group
